In the first part of the tour, your guide will take you round various historic locations around the Royal Mile and Old Town learning about the history and heritage of Edinburgh
The 2nd part of the tour will be in a historic pub linked to music and we will hear songs and music from the rich treasure trove of Scottish traditional and other folk music.
Enjoy songs made well known by Robert Burns, Runrig and Dougie MacLean and others and learn about the history & heritage of the city.

Tour guide John was born and bred in Edinburgh and has been steeped in the Scottish traditional folk music scene for many years. Lots of music and some funny tales guaranteed!
He is also a university lecturer, guitar tutor and his music credentials have seen him described by Living Tradition Magazine as a 'master guitarist'.
